Gennady Golovkin made a surprise announcement on Wednesday night as he revealed he has split from long-time trainer Abel Sanchez.
The Mexican trainer has been working with the middleweight fighter since 2010 but a row over money has seen the pair opt to go their separate ways.
Golovkin, who makes his return to the ring against Steve Rolls in New York in June, was complementary of Sanchez in his statement of the split but the trainer struck a different tone towards the 'greedy' fighter.
