Chelsea fans have been cursing their luck after Ruben Loftus-Cheek picked up a suspected achilles injury in the club's friendly encounter with New England Revolution.
While the Blues comfortably won the match 3-0 on Wednesday, the evening was marred by Loftus-Cheek's injury which he picked up just 20 minutes after coming on as a substitute at half-time.
The 23-year-old was helped off the pitch and back to the dressing room by two of the medical team and left the Gillette Stadium on crutches with his left foot in a protective boot.
