Nigel Wray has decided to retire as chairman of Saracens with immediate effect.

The club were docked 35 points and fined £5.36million in November which came about as a result of an investigation from Sportsmail.

Saracens plummeted to the bottom of the table after their points deduction and Wray stopped attending some Premiership matches which casted doubt over his future.
