Arsenal are set to sit down with Matteo Guendouzi about an improved contract which would grant the 20-year-old a significant wage hike.

The young French midfielder has been a fans' favourite at the north London club since joining from Lorient for a £7m fee in 2018. 

While the north London club are having a below-par season in the Premier League, they are keen to one of their most talented youngsters penned down to a new deal.
