Andreas Christensen wears protective mask in Chelsea training after being declared fit to face Tottenham as Frank Lampard prepares his players for crucial Premier League clash

Andreas Christensen wore a protective mask in training on Friday after Chelsea manager Frank Lampard confirmed the defender will be fit to play against Tottenham on Saturday. 

The 23-year-old was inadvertently elbowed in the nose by Anthony Martial during the Blues' 2-0 home defeat by on Monday, and he reportedly flew to Milan to have the mask fitted on Wednesday.  

Lampard told reporters: 'Andreas went to get a mask for a broken nose that he's now trained with, so he's available for selection, albeit with wearing a mask.
