Robert Lewandowski had to bail Bayern Munich out once more on Friday with a second-half double, after lowly Paderborn had proved a stubborn force to overcome at the Allianz Arena. 

The Pole's goals preserved the German champions' Bundesliga lead for another week, with the onus now on RB Leipzig to close the gap back up to one point against Schalke on Saturday.
