Sale are ready to unleash a powerful line-up in their rescheduled Premiership game against Worcester at the AJ Bell Stadium on Wednesday – if the fixture is authorised.
Despite a COVID outbreak which has seen 16 players and three staff members test positive, the title-chasing Cheshire club have been able to cobble together what should be a competitive side to face the Warriors.
However, they must await further virus test results on Wednesday morning and also sign-off from the RFU that all those selected have not exceeded thresholds for direct contact with players who have tested positive.

The most impacted area for Sale is the front row, where loosehead prop Valery Morozov will have to start out of position at tighthead.
He will take his place alongside Cameron Neild at hooker, in the enforced absence of Akker van der Merwe, Curtis Langdon and Robb Webber.
