Wimbledon's average viewing figures for the first three days are up almost 100 per cent on 2019, as Murray mania takes hold. 

The Scot’s win against Oscar Otte was watched by a 4.3million average on the BBC, with a peak of 6.75m. Good numbers given the ITV2 reality show it was up against — it turns out Britons prefer love-40 to Love Island.

TENNYS CAUGHT SHORT

Alex Zverev beat Tennys Sandgren and also offered to give the American a pair of his shorts.
