The Lions have confirmed their intention to play a second successive match against the Sharks on Saturday, to fill the void left by the postponement of their clash with the Bulls.
This short-notice contingency plan will allow the tourists to continue their disrupted preparations for the three-Test series against South Africa - who have had to cancel a warm-up against Georgia tomorrow night due to a COVID outbreak.
However, the Lions are awaiting the results of their own latest round of tests, after 12 members of their party - players and staff - were forced to isolate due to two positive cases in their camp and subsequent contact tracing.
