Demba Ba has revealed he regrets not speaking privately to then Paris Saint-Germain boss Thomas Tuchel before publicly accusing him of 'blaming' Istanbul Basaksehir players over a racism storm in a Champions League tie 18 months ago. 

Ba has opened up about that now infamous match against PSG at the Parc des Princes in December 2020 - when he was a coach with Basaksehir - and assistant manager Pierre Webo was allegedly racially abused by the fourth official. 

The incident led to both sets of players walking off and the match being completed 24 hours later with new officials.
