A frustrated Adam O'Brien struggled to comprehend two controversial bunker calls that hugely impacted his side in their defeat to Brisbane, but the Newcastle coach said his players had themselves to blame for their 36-12 loss.
In front of a crowd of 13,312 at McDonald Jones Stadium on Thursday, the Broncos moved into the NRL's top four and secured their fifth straight win for the first time since 2017, but did so in controversial fashion.
