Timo Werner has put his Chelsea exit down to a lack of playtime and not fitting Thomas Tuchel's system, after the German striker returned to his old club RB Leipzig.

Werner was largely disappointing in his time at Stamford Bridge, scoring 23 goals in 89 games after joining for £47.5 million.

There were high points, though, as he scored four goals in the Blues' Champions League winning campaign in 2021.
