Well-respected University of Michigan fan and one-time football standout Dametrius 'Meechie' Walker recently passed away after a two-year bout with cancer.
Walker was an uber talented defensive end in high school who had obtained scholarship offers from Kentucky, Michigan State, and other schools around college football.
He was on his way to obtaining a scholarship Michigan, the school of his dreams, when he was diagnosed with a type of bone cancer known as Osteosarcoma.
