Jesse Marsch admitted he could not believe how his Leeds side failed to get anything out of a game which he felt like they should have won.
Despite having 70% possession, Leeds were denied by Keylor Navas who made four crucial saves, to leave the visitors level on points with Everton.
‘I’m almost in disbelief that we found a way to lose because for me, we’re better in almost every phase. We controlled the match and we should win but right now, we are finding ways to lose and that’s difficult to swallow,’ said Marsch.
Chants of ‘Marsch out’ and ‘Jesse has to go’ emanated from the away end as Leeds fell to their 10th defeat of the season.
Marsch has now won just two of his last 17 league games - the last manager to have such a run for Leeds was Howard Wilkinson in 1996 - but he insisted that despite the fans discontent, he is aware of the predicament that they’re in.
