Unbeaten super-flyweight Shannon Ryan (4-0) is hoping to make a statement in her first fight under the Matchroom Boxing banner.
The 26-year-old faces EBU European flyweight champion Martina Bernile (5-1-1) on June 10 at Wembley Arena in her toughest test to date as a professional.
Bernile comes into the contest seven months removed from her heroic triumph over Justine Lallemand in November, where she snatched the vacant strap, and is now set to move up a weight class to face Ryan in a non-title fight.
Ryan, who has mostly fought journeywomen during the fledgling stages of her stint in the paid ranks, is relishing the opportunity to show her class against a decorated operator.
She told Mail Sport: 'I'm definitely looking forward to this one. As you said, it's a step up, so it will be good for me to show where I'm at.
