Tottenham fans are claiming Liverpool can have all three points from their controversial VAR-marred encounter in September - if it stops Arsenal winning the league.

A Luis Diaz goal was incorrectly ruled out by on-pitch officials for offside, but VAR then failed to correct it after believing the decision had been to award a goal. 

VAR officials at Stockley Park said the check was 'complete' and play continued wrongly with a Spurs free-kick. The PGMOL later apologised for a 'significant human error'.

Liverpool went on to lose the match in London 2-1 after a 96th-minute Joel Matip own goal, with Curtis Jones and Diogo Jota sent off. 

Now they are level on points at the top of the Premier League with Arsenal but behind them on goal difference. If they miss out on the title, they will point fingers at one of the most
