Daniel Sturridge may have earned himself a reputation as a mystic with a strikingly accurate prediction of how the clash between Bayern Munich and Real Madrid would unfold.

Shortly before the teams walked out at the Allianz Arena on Tuesday night, the former Liverpool and Chelsea striker shared his thoughts on the first leg of the Champions League semi-final between the two European giants.

'Sane will be a big problem tonight. Goal for him and a pen for Kane,' he wrote on X, the platform previously known as Twitter.

Sturridge's call could not have been more accurate.
