Just a day after stepping onto the red carpet at the Met Gala, Angel Reese returned to the court for the Chicago Sky and put together an impressive performance.

On Monday, Reese was one of many notable names to appear at the event in New York City, as she rung in her 22nd birthday in style.

And 24 hours later, Reese starred for the Sky in a preseason win vs. the Liberty as she tallied 13 points and five rebounds for her new team.

'So now yall can delete them drafts & tweets saying i shouldn't have gone to the met gala & i can't do both, ' she wrote. 'I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGTHENS ME.'

Reese, who also scored 13 points in her Sky preseason debut, took a private jet to New York for the Met Gala, where this year's theme was 'Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.'
