Arsenal's three-game Premier League winning streak came to an end as Manchester United punished Arsene Wenger's side for individual errors at the Emirates.
An awful square pass by Laurent Koscielny assisted Antonio Valencia for United's first, before Shkodran Mustafi's indecision was pounced on by Jesse Lingard for 2-0.
Alexandre Lacazette pulled one back to give Arsenal hope, which was extinguished after Koscielny was overpowered by Paul Pogba, who gift-wrapped a second for Lingard. Pogba was sent off late on for stamping on Hector Bellerin, but Arsenal were unable to mount a comeback, with United goalkeeper David de Gea in fine form.

Jesse Lingard scored twice as Manchester United beat Arsenal 3-0 at the Emirates Stadium
Petr Cech - 5
Let ball go under him for Valencia's goal. Did not inspire confidence at any point.
Shkodran Mustafi - 4 (Alex Iwobi 14)
Dallied in possession and lost ball to Jesse Lingard. United scored. Went off injured. An awful quarter of an hour.
Laurent Koscielny - 4
Loose pass in opening minutes put his team in nightmare situation. Looked like a rookie for the third.
Arsenal centre back Laurent Koscielny (left) was clearly at fault for two of United's three goals
Nacho Monreal - 6
The only member of Arsenal's initial three man defence to emerge without a bad mark against his name.
Hector Bellerin - 6
Supported team out-wide and delivered a few teasing balls across the United box.
Aaron Ramsey - 6
Offered drive through middle. Such a clever assist for Lacazette. Some bad decision making.
Aaron Ramsey (right) provided a really intelligent assist to set up striker Alexandre Lacazette
Granit Xhaka - 6 (Danny Welbeck 70)
Did not do much wrong. At same time, did not make much of an impression on the game.
Sead Kolasinac - 5 (Olivier Giroud 76)
Should have realised he would not meet pass for opener. Struggled against United's pace.
Mesut Ozil - 7
A creative fulcrum and provided enough chances for Arsenal to take something from this game.
Playmaker Mesut Ozil created plenty of chances but his team-mates did not put them away
Alexis Sanchez - 7
His cross for Ramsey showed why he is so coveted. Ragged with his passing at times.
