There have been hundreds of football clubs who have picked up professional FIFA esports players but they aren't the only organisations and brands who having an impact.

In one of the most fascinating moves within the FIFA esports ecosystem, YouTube sensations F2Freestylers have added another person to their brand for the first time ever by signing highly-sought after FIFA pro, Donovan 'Tekkz' Hunt.

F2Tekkz is only 16-years-old yet he has already taken the world by storm, beating multiple established pros in his debut tournament as he won the FUT Champions Cup in Barcelona.

The F2 duo, Billy Wingrove and Jeremy Lynch aka Jezza, have a rather young audience - most of whom also share a big interest in FIFA. Wingrove says it was a move they've always wanted to make but they to find the right player: 'We've been thinking about getting into esports for the last year, we know that it's growing so fast, and the hype around it's incredible. 

'We just needed to right opportunity to step in, and the right opportunity to come to us, and we were so busy at the time, that it wasn't at the top of our list, until Tekkz won in Barcelona.

'The reason for that was because this unique, skillful player burst onto the scene, won his first tournament he's entered and plays with skills - plus his brand is undiscovered at that point. We're thinking, right, we've got a blank canvas here with Tekkz, he's proved that he can win championships and he's the most skillful player in FIFA in the world.'

Doing flashy skill moves is far too risky for most pros, understandably they would rather play in the safest and most efficient way possible. With F2's own focus being on skills, it really was Tekkz play style that sets him apart, much to Lynch's delight: 'He makes it so exciting, he scored some unbelievable goals.
