This is the shocking moment a drunk driver sent his passengers flying into the air as he smashed into another car during a police chase.
Damian Cleaver, from Leicester, crashed his open top Vauxhall Astra, carrying four passengers, while turning a corner in Birstall, Leicester.
The 31-year-old crashed into an oncoming Mercedes and left the driver, who had just dropped his children off at school, suffering from whiplash.

Cleaver, who was already banned from driving and has a 'horrendous' record for motoring crimes was jailed at Leicester Crown Court for dangerous driving.
Alexander Wolfson, prosecuting, said there were four passengers in the defendant's convertible and some suffered minor injuries.
Mr Wolfson said: 'The defendant was flying down the road and went head on into a Mercedes. The other driver had no chance of avoiding him.
'The defendant's car first caught the attention of the police because it was being driven too fast on Loughborough Road and that's why officers decided to follow.'
The Mercedes driver was 'shocked and disturbed' although said he felt lucky to have survived.

Cleaver, who already has a previous drink driving offence, was arrested at the scene and failed a roadside breath test.
