An Amber Alert that was issued for a 15-year-old California girl who was last seen with her mother and a man who are both wanted for murder has been cancelled.
Nevada police said the suspect's cell phone was used near the border with Mexico.
Police announced Thursday they're searching for 15-year-old Hispanic teen Alora Benitez and now police agencies in Nevada have been urged to be on the lookout as the trio could be in the Silver State.
Her mother Maricela Mercado, 40, and Roman Cerratos, 39, are suspects in the stabbing death of a man whose body was found in a car in the city of Carson early Tuesday morning.
Both are considered armed and dangerous, according to police.
