Rescuers are searching into the night for a kayaker who was last seen jetting off on an Easter Sunday paddle.
Chris Dicker, 28, was seen at Tallebudgera Creek about 7am, but his kayak was later found near a bridge without a paddle.
The area, near Burleigh Heads, is 'notorious' for dangerous currents, locals said.
