Tenants have tried make the most of their home, advertising a dingy garage with no windows, concrete floors and a dirty mattress for $120 a week.
The concrete garage, located in Edgeware, Christchurch on New Zealand's South Island, includes power, a bed and the 'use of facilities in the house'.
Pictures of the makeshift bedroom, which has been posted to multiple Facebook rental groups, showcases the 12 square metre space complete with strips of carpet.
The advertisement boasts a 'five minute walk to city centre and close to Palms Mall located in Edgeware'.
'Garage has storage and a queen bed. Byo food. $120,' the advert reads.
