CNN cut away from President Trump's 2020 presidential re-election campaign launch on Tuesday after he reiterated his attacks on the media and incited the crowd to scream 'CNN sucks!'
Just minutes into his rally in Orlando, Florida, the President referred to his 2015 campaign announcement as a 'defining moment in American history', then, pointing to the media covering the event, added: 'Ask them right there'.
The crowd of around 20,000 then started chanting 'CNN sucks!' - a familiar refrain at Trump rallies, while the President smiled his approval.

'By the way,' Trump continued, 'that is a lot of fake news back there'.
'The amount of press we have tonight reminds me of the Academy Awards before it went political and their ratings went down the tubes.'
Referring to the 2016 election, he said: 'This was our chance to reclaim our government from a permanent political class that enrich themselves at your expense.'
