Megan Rapinoe gained an early lead for the USA against Spain with a penalty kick in the 6th minute.

However, just a few minutes later and Spain drew level after Lucia Garcia fed the ball to world-class goalscorer Jenni Hermoso.

Keeper Alyssa Naeher played a ball forward to the defense that was easily intercepted by Hermoso who played a shot in the top right corner to even the score.
