fashion designer Valentino Garavani has listed his Tuscan holiday villa for sale for £10million.
The 18th-century property boasts 15 bedrooms each decorated in an individual style, including the Sophia Loren room, named after the famous Italian actress who once spent the night there.
Located close to the village of Cetona, it sits in 27 acres of private grounds which feature olive groves, a 200-seat stone amphitheatre, tree-lined running track, and swimming pool with pool-house.
In total, the property has 17,000sqft of living space, including a gym and sauna. The grounds also include a former horse stables.
Perhaps the most unusual feature of the home is buried underneath it - a series of tunnels leading to an Etruscan tomb that dates to the 7th-century.
Valentino Garavani - who owns fashion brand Valentino - has put his 15-bedroom, 17,000sqft Tuscan holiday villa up for sale for £10million. The property was built in 1750, but the interiors date from the 1980s
The villa's current interiors were created by celebrated Genoese interior designer Renzo Mongiardino who used ceiling frescoes and terracotta tiled floors throughout (covered here by a large rug)
Valentino, 87, has owned the property with partner Giancarlo Giammetti for the past 33 years - using it as a get-away during the summer months so that the pair could relax in privacy
As well as the stunning interiors, the villa sits in 27 acres of private lands, affording total secrecy for the owners, but with direct access to the piazza of the nearby town of Cetona
A pool room is just one of the ways in which the new owners will be able to relax at home, with a gym and sauna also included
During its time in Valentino's ownership, the home has played host to various fashion events and parties. One of the bedrooms is named after Sophia Loren, the Italian actress who once spent the night there
