An indigenous activist has been stripped of her Centrelink allowance for repeatedly failing to turn up to job interviews or look for work.

The unnamed woman is instead a 'full time protester' and is currently camping at land in Deebing Heights, Ipswich, with a group of activists.

A private developer was granted access to build on the land in 2015, but protesters argue the land is sacred to certain members of indigenous communities.

The woman was reportedly given multiple chances to undertake her 'mutual obligations' to look for work before her Newstart allowance
