Passengers at Heathrow Airport were evacuated off a British Airways flight from Budapest that sparked a security alert amid fears of a 'mid-air chemical incident.'
The BA876 flight from Budapest landed shortly after 7pm on Thursday evening and passengers were reportedly taken from the plane and 'detained' at Heathrow Gate 26.
The London Ambulance Service sent a hazardous area response team (HART) to the scene, and the police and fire brigade also attended.
One passenger on social media claimed people were being detained and not being told the details of the incident.
The individual also claimed a fight had broken out between passengers and ground staff.
Geraldine Fusciardi, who was one of the other passengers detained, told MyLondon: 'We were locked in the room for about 40 minutes. One woman collapsed in distress just as they were letting us out. No apology.
A BA flight has been forced to make an
