The founder of Uber sold off over 20 percent of his share in the company last week, pocketing over $500 billion in the process.
Travis Kalanick began selling off his shares on Wednesday, the same day that trading restrictions were lifted on the company's outstanding shares.
He then continued to sell large chunks of stock on Thursday and Friday, offloading just 20 million shares in total for a profit of just under $547 million.
