Prince Harry was all smiles as he presented an award for inspirational young people in London tonight, marking his final public appearance before his six-week break.  

The Duke and Duchess are set to take a break after the event tonight when Harry will likely travel to the US and spend Thanksgiving with Meghan's mother Doria, 63.

It had been thought they would return to Sandringham for Christmas but they informed Her Majesty, 93, that they will not be joining her and Prince Philip, 98 this year.

The Duke presented the Health and Wellbeing Award at the Royal Albert Hall event.

The show was run by charity OnSide, which develops 21st century youth facilities across the UK. 

Speaking at the award show, The Duke referenced climate-change activist Greta Thunberg.

He said: 'Every school, every family needs a Greta.'

He presented the accolade to members of the 'Strong Sisters' youth group from Blackburn, Lancashire.

The group look at the history of empowering women from Blackburn to inspire young women to achieve their aspirations today.
