A Federal Minister has collapsed in the middle of a parliament during a speech by Prime Minister Scott Morrison.
Veteran Affairs Minister and Member for Gippsland Darren Chester was rushed to hospital after falling ill during parliamentary proceedings on Wednesday.
The Minister has confirmed he is in good health but will undergo testing after suffering a medical episode.
The Minister was seen wringing his hands with his head bowed in the moments before he fell ill.
Parliament staff, ministers and other colleagues rushed to check on him - including several with medical backgrounds - Dr Mike Freelander and Dr Katie Allen, reports The Age.
