Gladys Berejiklian is accused of breaching her own Covid restrictions by meeting colleagues at work while awaiting test results for the virus.

Last week, the New South Wales Premier revealed she had taken a Covid test out of an 'abundance of caution'.

But two government sources claimed she continued meeting with colleagues while she was waiting for the all clear. 

The premier's office have since confirmed in a statement that Ms Berejiklian remained in her office the day she took the test - the same as NSW's budget was announced.

But confusingly, they say she did not breach restrictions as that is where she took her test.  

'At no stage did the premier have COVID-19 symptoms, and therefore did not require a test,' Ms Berejiklian's office said in a statement.
