Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Vince Velasquez followed a disastrous performance in Boston on Friday by getting into a verbal altercation with a fan who told him to 'learn to pitch.'  

'I want to see your fat a** go and do it,' Velasquez is seen telling an unidentified fan in video footage that was shared on Twitter by Phillies blogger Matt Rappa.    

The incident took place outside Boston's Fenway Park after the 29-year-old Californian surrendered four walks, three home runs, and a season-worst eight runs in an 11-5 loss to the Red Sox. Spokespeople for the Phillies did not immediately respond to DalyMail.com's request for comment.
