Wendy Williams 'was drinking every day' before her hospitalization last week, according to a report, and is 'in need of serious help'.
The chat show host, 57, was admitted to a New York City hospital on September 14, Page Six said.
Five days before, she had cancelled all promotional activities for the new season of The Wendy Williams Show.
Her spokesman said via Instagram that Williams was 'dealing with some ongoing health issues'.
On Monday, Williams was said by an insider to have been 'drinking every day, even while filming the show.'
