Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro's daughter-in-law and 11-month-old granddaughter have tested positive for COVID-19.
Heloisa Bolsonaro, who is married to São Paulo Congressman, Eduardo Bolsonaro, broke the disheartening news to her Instagram followers Monday, four days after her husband revealed he had been infected.
Heloisa Bolsonaro shared that her daughter, Georgia Bolsonaro, only experienced mild symptoms, including a fever and runny nose.
'On the first day we felt bad, now, thank God, we're fine,' she wrote. 'And thanks to a drug that I just took and I got better right away. Impressive.'
'Thank God she hasn't had a fever anymore and is super willing, eating and playing,' Heloisa Bolsonaro added. 'The treatment for her is symptomatic. Novalgina for fever, an anti-allergic to relieve the runny nose and secretion and a lot of nasal washing.'
It's second time that the president's daughter-in-law has caught the viral bug.
