A seal has been spotted cleverly using waves at a popular Sydney beach to propel itself into a huge school of fish.
Known by locals of Sydney's eastern beaches as Alex, the seal was recorded by a drone last week riding the swell to feast on a huge ball of bait fish.
Alex inquisitively glides underneath the surfers before surfacing with a large fish in his mouth.
