This is the adorable moment a young girl burst into tears of joy after coming home to be greeted by a new puppy.
Mum Amy Morgan, 37, from Northampton, decided to surprise her daughter Esmae, 9, with a new pet after she returned home from school.
Footage shows her daughter walk through the front door and into the lounge, oblivious to the young pup lying on the sofa.
But after being told to 'look around' the room, she spots the small puppy and almost immediately bursts into tears.
Amy said that she knew her daughter would be thrilled with the addition to the family.
'She'd been asking for a dog for about 6 years,' said Amy.
