Rapper Fetty Wap is being released from jail after eight nights behind bars on drug charges.
The 30-year-old from New Jersey, whose real name is Willie Maxwell II, was arrested on October 28 on the grounds of the Rolling Loud festival at Citi Field in New York City.
He was charged with plotting to deal large amounts of cocaine, heroine and fentanyl.
He was originally expected to be held until trial, but on Friday evening U.S. District Judge Joanna Seybert released him on a $500,000 secured bond.
The rapper was ordered to agree to GPS monitoring, submit to random drug testing, and surrender his passport.
Any travel requires the prior approval of Pre-trial Services and the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
The Suffolk County District Attorney's office released pictures of the bust, which included $1.5 million in cash, stacks of cocaine, and bags of heroin, as well as fentanyl.
