A Utah father-of-six was killed in a freak skiing accident after powder from a snow machine covered his goggles, blinding the experienced skier and causing him to crash into a snowbank.
Lee Draper, 55, was at the Brighton Ski Resort on Wednesday morning when he suffered a serious brain injury from the crash that ultimately cost him his life.
Draper's children spoke to ABC4 and said their father's two major passions in life were the outdoors and his children, who range in age from 18 to 38.
'He was the greatest man I knew and the world had lost something great by his passing,' Lee's oldest son, Tom Draper, told the station.
'He would give almost anything for anyone around him and that he would give everything for his family,' said the 38-year-old son.
'He was everything,' he added.
Draper's children said their dad was in good shape even into his older years so he could continue to enjoy and experience life with them.
