A senior Australian police officer told colleagues he would 'punch [his female boss] in the c***' if he wasn't given the job he wanted, an enquiry has heard.
The inquiry into Queensland police responses to domestic violence heard that 1,676 complaints of sexist, racist, misogynistic and homophobic behaviour were made against officers from 2020 to 2022.
One of the worst allegations was that a male senior constable being managed by a woman boss lashed out verbally in front of other officers after being denied a relieving role.

Commissioner Katarina Carroll was grilled at a Commission of Inquiry into Queensland Police Service Responses to Domestic and Family Violence
'She is nothing but a c**t and if she doesn’t give me a relieving role I’m going to punch her in the c**t,' the Courier Mail reported.
In August, Deputy Queensland Police Commissioner Paul Taylor quit after the inquiry heard he and Chief Superintendent Ray Rohweder made lewd comments at police leadership conferences.
The inquiry heard Mr Taylor used the phrase 'vagina whisperer' in an official speech to staff in April to describe a friend of his who is a respected gynaecologist.
