Executives at the Wynn hotel in Las Vegas are 'over the moon' after winning the patronage of superstar singer Adele, as she kicks off her long-awaited mega-money residency in Sin City. 

As part of her deal to sing at the Caesars Palace Colosseum for $1milllion a night, the British vocalist was offered  luxury accommodations at the Palazzo Suites at the Rio Casino - a four-star hotel on the Strip owned by Caesars Entertainment. 

But on Sunday DailyMail.com revealed Adele has shunned the swanky suite for a bungalow on a golf course at the rival Wynn resort just down the road instead. 

Roman Massaro, Director of Resort Customer Development at the $2.7bn five-star hotel, quickly crowed over the singer's switch, even posting an Instagram story with DailyMail.com's exclusive article, captioned: '@Wynnlasvegas must be doing something right.' 

A well-placed Vegas insider confirmed hotel execs have been gloating about the move off of social media as well. 

'Wynn is over the moon that Adele has not only chosen to stay at the property, she has delivered a diss to one of its arch rivals,' the source told DailyMail.com on Monday. 

'Adele may not be a high roller but she's a superstar who deserves only the best.' 

Meanwhile the brass at Caesars are seething after Adele turned down their luxury lodging - good enough for Cher and Elton John - which was said to include a butler, with the star expected to spend weekends holed up there with son Angelo and boyfriend Rich Paul between now and March.

'Top guns at Caesars are fuming and see it as a real slap in the face,' another insider said. 

Adele reportedly tried to diffuse the situation after it made headlines by claiming she was only at the Wynn to visit friends 'incognito,' according to reports.  

But multiple sources with knowledge of the situation have insisted she has indeed moved to the Wynn. 

DailyMail.com photos show the star's Mercedes dropping her off at the private entrance for the star at Caesars before her performance and then returning to the entrance of the Wynn villas.

'For some reason she was not satisfied with her accommodations at The Rio. But really it has amazing suites that people like Elton and Cher have stayed at.'

However, the arrangements appeared to be subpar for Adele, who is rumored to have initially requested accommodation at the Augustus Tower at the Caesars Palace complex - which only has three suites on the penthouse level. 

Las Vegas professional gambler RJ Cipriani (aka also Robin Hood 702) weighed in on the situation, adding: 'Caesars should have just given Adele the penthouse suite at the Augustus Tower, its by far one of the best suites in the country and I've been in every high roller suite in the country.' 

Wynn Resorts, founded by former CEO Steve Wynn, opened the luxury hotel on the Las Vegas Strip in April 2005. 

The 80-year-old hotel magnate stepped down from his position in 2018 amid reports of sexual misconduct by several women, which he denies. 

Despite resigning, Wynn is said to live in one of the hotel's luxury villas near Adele's new digs. 

The luxury accommodations at the Fairway Villas cost up to $30,000 a night. One suite, for example, is a 3,224 sq ft room, which includes an 80 inch TV, dining area with a bar, two marble bathrooms and twice daily housekeeping.

Staying there probably gives her increased privacy, as the villas are approached via their own private drive.

A convoy of cars used by the singer were seen heading from Caesars Palace to the Wynn on Saturday after the concert.

A local source said: 'It's not clear what caused the move, but obviously it is unusual for Adele not to be staying at Caesars and locally gossip has been spreading.

'I am sure that the feeling is that whatever makes her feel comfortable is OK, but this is embarrassing for Caesars.'

Another source claimed that Adele was unimpressed after being offered a room in the Palazzo Villas at the Rio, which is an all-suite hotel and casino across from Caesars, when she had expected to be housed in the Augustus Tower.
