A crypto trader has swapped his life of luxury with his glamorous influencer girlfriend Gracie Piscopo to the four walls of a prison cell - after he was charged with the alleged murder of his mother.
Andre Zachary Rebelo, 26, is in police custody after being charged with one count of murder dating back to May 25, 2020, when the body of his mum, Colleen Rebelo, was found in a multi-million dollar home in Perth's affluent riverside suburb of Bicton.
Rebelo fronted Fremantle Magistrates Court on Tuesday and is also facing 35 fraud charges which allegedly occurred in the months following his mother's death.
The alleged offences stem from May to July 2020 and include forgery and attempt to gain a benefit by fraud.
He has pleaded not guilty to the alleged financial crimes and will face a trial over that matter in December next year. Rebelo has not entered a plea on the murder charge and will face court later this year.

The charges against Rebelo have shocked the countless fans of his girlfriend, Gracie Piscopo, 26, who has one million Instagram followers, and 307,000 subscribers to her YouTube channel.

The pair have been dating for eight years and while they aren't engaged, they share a three-year-old son Romeo.
Ms Piscopo's social media accounts were once flooded with photos of her and Rebelo - among them an image of him feeding her grapes in the waters of the Maldives.
But he has noticeably been missing from her Instagram for most of the past year.
The last photo of the couple together was in a post from New Year's Eve 2021, where Ms Piscopo shared a picture of Polaroids of the pair from each year they'd been together.
The couple last week featured together in a post on the popular Instagram page Luxeladyofficial, but neither shared the photo onto their own account.
That same page also shared risque photos of the couple in the bath last month, but again neither uploaded the photos to their own platforms.
