The mother of a ten-year-old killed in the Uvalde Elementary school massacre in Texas last May filed a suit Monday against gun distributors and law enforcement officers who were at the scene of the shooting.

The mother, Sandra Torres, claimed that negligence on the part of all named parties led to the death of her daughter, Eliahna Torres, 10.

'Eliahna loved her family, and she knew how much we loved her,' said Torres via a news release. 'I miss her every moment of every day.'

'I have brought this lawsuit to seek accountability. No parent should ever go through what I have,' added the heartbroken mother.

Arredondo was ultimately fired due to his response during the shooting, though he has said he took all 'reasonable actions' that day.
