With 16 shopping days to Christmas and millions hitting the high street to search for the perfect festive gift, many of us are worried about getting scammed online.
Whether it's the hunt for a coffee machine, latest gadget or toy for the little ones, it seems that for more than a third of Brits, the yuletide shopping also brings with it some anxiety.
A new study by mobile phone network EE, found 37 per cent of UK shoppers are worried about losing money to fraudsters during Christmas, Boxing Day and the January sales.
The research, which asked 2,017 people, highlighted that nearly a quarter have purchased items from online retailers they've never used or heard of in the past, with almost 1 in 3 admitting having previously put aside their usual caution to secure a good deal over the period.

In response to their customers' fears, EE has launched a new cyber security application powered
