A murder probe has been launched after a man was found collapsed outside a hospital with stab wounds by police and then died a short time later.
Police officers passing by discovered the injured victim, aged in his 20s, in the early hours of this morning and gave him first aid.
He had been driven to the hospital - which is a major trauma centre in the capital - by a friend and was left outside the building just before 5am.
Doctors took him inside King's College Hospital in Denmark Hill, south east London, for emergency treatment but he died a short time later, police said.
