A drunk hairdresser who viciously kneed a police officer in the groin after a boozy night out has escaped jail.
Lucy Indge, 25, lashed out at uniformed officer PC Nathan Ford after he offered her a lift home from a night out on December 10 last year.
Newport Magistrates Court heard that Indge from Abergavenny, Monmouthshire, was so drunk she was being restrained by bouncers when police arrived.
And once she was in the car, things went from bad to worse.
