One of the suspects in the rape of LSU sophomore Madison Brooks is now facing a separate rape charge relating to an attack on a 12-year-old girl in 2020.
Kaivon Washington, 18, posted a $150,000 bond in relation to the Brooks' case on Thursday, he was arrested again on Friday and booked into the Livingston Parish Detention Center in relation to the alleged attack on the pre-teen girl.
Washington and an unnamed 17-year-old are charged with third degree rape in the Brooks case while two others, Casen Carver, 18, and Everett Lee, 27, are charged with principle to third degree rape. Washington is Lee's nephew. He and Carver were both freed on bail earlier this week.
Documents relating to the 2020 incident were obtained by The New Orleans Advocate. The newspaper says that the attack occurred during a pool party in the town of Walker, just outside of Baton Rouge.

In an interview with Baton Rouge-based investigative reporter Kiran Chawla, the 12-year-old victim described the assault in horrifying detail.
The now-teenage victim said that during a pool party, her friend asked for her help sneaking a boy into her room. She did so by using a towel to cover a Ring camera.
When the other boy entered the home, Washington also barged his way in, the victim alleges.
After resisting and saying 'no' multiple times, the victim said that Washington proceeded to sexually assault her for an hour. She said that when he was finished, 'He got up and told me to "go check myself."'
