Footage broadcast by the 'CNN This Morning' show sees Kaitlan Collins repeatedly being either dismissed on silenced by her on-air co-host Don Lemon, only hours before Lemon allegedly blew up at Collins in front of fellow staffers.
In a series of clips taken from the December 8 broadcast, Collins can be seen attempting to get a word in while Lemon continues to talk over her and at one point tells her to stop speaking while he continues to ramble on.
The tension continues to build throughout the broadcast before Lemon allegedly made Kaitlan Collins run from the set in tears later that morning after he berated her in front of the television crew and their other female co-host Poppy Harlow.
CNN has since issued a statement saying that the reports of Lemon's outburst are overblown, but other outlets have confirmed that the events being described are largely accurate.
'Don, Kaitlan and Poppy were friends before they were co-anchors and they remain friends today,' a statement from CNN reads.

A number of sources at CNN say that Lemon is a professional host and Collins is working to adjust to her role as a morning show host having previously been the network's White House Correspondent.
Collins, 30, was the youngest chief White House Correspondent in the history of CNN, and now reportedly wants to be on set with the anchor 'as little as possible' after the incident reports the New York Post.
The argument took place off-camera which left Collins 'visibly upset' and other members of staff 'shaken 'by his outburst.
Lemon, 56, went 'ballistic' at staffers who highlighted the spat with Collins, according to RadarOnline – with the host claiming she 'interrupted him' during a December broadcast.

Footage from the December 8 broadcast sees several occurrences of on air interruptions that sees Collins attempting to speak but Lemon either ignoring her or talking over her.
The instances happened during a portion of the show when breaking news occurred with details of Britney Griner’s release from a Russian prison being made public.
In another section of the show, Collins once again tries to speak up but ends up talking over Lemon once again.
Both Collins and Lemon are both represented by agent Jay Sures, with their fellow anchor Poppy Harlow witnessing the initial heated exchange.
Collins and Lemon have starred alongside each other on the show since it started three months ago.

The pair, along with Harlow, used to arrive to red carpets and events as a unit but now appear to arrive separately and seem to want to stay far away from each other.
While it's unclear whether Collins intentionally interrupted Lemon, one source referred to him as 'bossy' and 'difficult to work with.'
The source added that he was given notes to talk less during the show and share the stage with Harlow and Collins.
Lemon may also be struggling to share the spotlight having previously had his own show - Don Lemon Tonight - before CNN boss Chris Licht canceled it and created the new morning show.
