An angry note left on a car parked on a public street in a busy beachside suburb has triggered a furious debate about parking on residential streets.
One local legally left her car in an unrestricted space on Mount Street in Coogee, in Sydney's eastern suburbs, for two days where there is no time limit on parking.
But when she returned, she found a fuming local resident on the road had left a angry note on her windscreen.
'Please move your car,' it read. 'This is not a parking lot. You do not live in this street!'
The driver posted the note on social media, adding that she 'cannot believe this is still happening in 2024'.
